Weather Live Free App Reviews
The app in itself is fine. It works well and has a clean layout. What annoys me is the constant popup screens urging users to upgrade. If anything, I feel like deleting the app every time I’m harassed by the upgrade popups.
I needed a simple, easy to evaluate before getting ready for the day. I don’t need anything complicated, just a summary of the temperatures forecats, the probability of rain, and possibility of severe weather over next three - five days.
CLUNKY U.I. with AD!
A clunkly, garish, animated interface, with a gigantic ad. Sorry, we dont do ads, and wont be extorted to make them go away - we DELETE the app!

Other than a pretty picture that I assume is supposed to approximate what it’s currently like outside, there is *no* weather information imparted. None. Zero. ZipNada. No temperatures, *nothing* shown it the app’s ad copy. None of the information shown above appears in the app except the time, day,, and date. To get anything more than that, you need to buy. On top of that, 12-hour time uses leading zeros, and I greatly dislike that. I don’t expect the dev to give away the store, but a weather app should at least *tell* you something about the weather. If I wanted to interpret cloud formations, I would have studied meterology. Weather˚ 1.5, OS X 10.10.5
I havwe had this for all of an hour. I upgraded right away so I could have everything. It won’t stop asking would you like this app? or this one? Then would you like to rate this? Fine, I will rate it.
…I want something that works and this app does. Free is always good but I am going to pay for the ‘upgrade’ because I’d like to encourage this and other developers to continue. All that said, I’ve read some of the negative reviews and the key is…update update update. Or buy a new Mac then update <grin>. One thing I’d like to see is the percentage of a chance of rain, just incase I’m too lazy to look out the window or I’m in my bunker because of the Zombie Apocalypse .

such a nice app i like it but more options into the could be better.
Lot’s of nags
I know it’s free and you get what you pay for, but there are a LOT of nags if you don’t upgrade. Just sayin’..
We have a winter weather advisory right now which the app is advertising so it makes sense it would be cloudy out yet I see a full bright sun on the app.
Tried it but thought it to be not very accurate and is more of a generalized area forecast. Also, did not include my town on the list. My thermometer is dead on and I have a window to look out to see the current weather conditions. I got rid of it after two days.
TOO MUCH A CLOCK
MORE LIKE A CLOCK WHIT WEATHER THAN WEATHER WITH A CLOCK. AT LEAST MAKE THE TEMPERATURE MORR PROMINENT
This does not give the weather on Pluto (yes, it is a planet). This is not an app for measuring the vacum of the black holes in space. It is an app for giving the GENERAL weather in your area. Where I live it might be sunny, but 6 blocks away it is raining cats & dogs. I think this is a great app and I get what info I want from it. To the developers, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
