Weather Live Free App Reviews

Nothing I could do would make it show me the actual weather. It would show a nice sized clock with a nice background, but other than that it would show absolutely nothing related to the weather. Not even the current temperature. Very glad this was a free app so when I deleted it, I didn’t feel like I’d wasted mone. If there was a ‘Zero’ star, I’d have given it no-stars.

But animations may be improved . They dont give impression of real atmosphere. I want to see it as real world. Please check YoWEather.

All details easy to reach, good looking and effective. Thumbs up.

For this few info it provides the app uses way too much - most probably for the animation.

I can see on the screen what really is outside my home window. The time displayed on the screen take too long to update from pc clock.

This app is only meant to give the general weather in your area. It is not meant to give the weather on Mars.For what this is, it is a great app. It is accurate enough and is user friendly. A must buy in my opinion!

For a free app, it’s very good. Seems to be pretty accurate. I like the way it is presented. Consice and easy to read. I’m glad I downloaded it.

From time to time you run across an app in the free app store that operates, reports, and offers all the things you would expect an app of its kind to give you. Weather is that kind of app. You can pay to get a couple more features and options, but the simple capabilities that the free version of the app offers and provides are simply awesome! Weather shot themselves in the foot with this one because it does everything you ned it to do in the free version so there is no need to upgrade! I love the simple looks and functions that this weather app provides. The information isn’t cluttered or useless at all! It is exactly what I needed in a weather app. Great job!

I enjoy the weather app on our iMac. However, the barometric pressure is only in whole numbers. The change in acutal pressure over the last several days (between snow and freezing rain to birght and sunny) has gone from 30.1 to 30.7. However, the app continues to show simply “30”. Otherwise we really like it.

Really useful weather widget

It displays the time, the date and the kind of weather data you could get by sticking your head out the window and having a look around. I guess if you’re unable or unwilling to go outside this would be something you might find useful- otherwise I think you will find the free features on Weather Underground to be far more informative. Paying the $10 membership fee at Weather Underground in fact will give you a range of functions and data this app cannot match. So- to sum it up- the Weather app is essentially pointless- save the hard drive space. I gave it two stars just because it didn’t lock up my computer.

Pressure rounded to the nearest inch (30 instead of 30.09). Switching to millibars gave an erroneous reading (764 instead of 1020). Wind direction off by 180 degrees. Wind speed incorrect. I didn’t look any further. 10.10.2

Nice app so far! But it has to many ads. Every time I open the application, it gives me a pop-up sheet saying “Buy the app Alarm Clock” or “Upgrade to full version!” It’s very annoying. But I like this app anyway. Thank you!

it all looks good and has great features, but the temperature reading is often wrong. sometimes by almost 10degrees!
