Weather Live Free App Reviews
Nah
Not As good and the Dashboard one.
Very nice implementation of a weather app. Wish there was a screen saver mode. Can that be done? It would be great if you could also add the Weather data to any Mac OS desktop. I run your Weather App full screen on Desktop 4. Its just a swipe away. Stable and informative. Good Job!
Easiest and best
Visually great this app delivers.
When I first got this app,I thought is was absolutely perfect! Until… I went to type my city and it wasn’t there! I was confused until I saw the sign saying pay $5.00 for the full upgrade!!!
Compared to Weather Underground, this app is crippled. I seriously doubt it worth investing in the full version. Got to admit the weather shown on the full screen is cool, but not enough to warrant a purchase. Proof of function would be required for me, like a 30 day trial of the full version. Otherwise, they are **not** getting my money. Don (IONTARIO624)
Canadians live in an environment that is subject to radical and swift weather changes and this app takes it all in. Right now our family has it on all of our devices and it has proven to be reliable and accurate. Additionally we love it because it has beautifully animated skies that match weather conditions and time of day including sunrise and sunset. We have tried upwards of 20 different weather apps and this is the one for us. Note: to save CPU the animation can be turned off and the effect is just as picturesque.
Great
I really like this feature and I use it frequently. Its a nice setup and easy which is important to me as I am not a tekkie.

très belle présentation
Bravo…
Nicely done!
Nice little app that does just exactly what it’s supposed to do. Attractive, unobtrusive and functional. Thanks
I was influenced by one user’s review here, saying that this app would fit for canadians. Let me tell you, it is not. Although app seems atractive in terms of layout, is absolutely useless, it shows crazy temperature (600 degrees) and I live in a fairly big city and it is not capable to recognize it, either with my postal code! I’ve been contacted by the support team, nothing changed... but this torture didn’t end there! when I try to uninstall it was not just drag and drop… of course not!... I had to manually uninstall it, what a pain!!! Save yourself a little time and go with another app for weather this one is just a dissapointment.
Fine & Beautiful weather app
This is a very satisfactory weather app. Its attractive and seems quite accurate.
Beautiful App
Very beautiful with precise weather forcast. Like it and recommand it.
has an annoying pop up to buy the full version eveytime you open it up. also will not display info in metric, you can set it up to , but it won’t change it. I just deleted it.
Money Grab
Ask’s you to upgrade so you can see the weather forecasts
I run this on a spare machine in the office for a nice, full-screen weather display. Very cool. It tends to get the time wrong after running overnight, though — I think because I enabled 24-hour mode? I’ll come in at 8 and it’ll show “28:05” for instance. No big deal though. I’m mainly interested in the weather conditions. I might suggest, for a future version, rotating through different reports over time. Rather than dividing a static view, over 10 or 15 seconds the app could flip through 3 or 4 screens highlighting different weather details. I’d make this optional — I think I’d run it on the spare machine, but not on my own desktop. Anyway, great product, and thanks for making it free.
This app failed to find my location, even when using the search function. It is fine, I suppose, if you live in Chicago or London, but it didn’t even list the nearest town with a major weather station. Also, I need more than a couple of locations in memory. I would upgrade to the paid version, except if the free version doesn’t help me, I don’t want to pay first, then find out the same problems exist in the paid version.
okay
It has relatively good information, but falls far short of the Yahoo app available for iOS. Also, it cannot seem to find locations outside of Canada.
